The primary function of the Network is to provide services and support to Sacred Heart Schools as they work to implement the core values of Sacred Heart Education.
Our Board
In its work to promote and support the vision and values of Sacred Heart Education, the Network Board guides and supports our stakeholders to implement the five goals: Faith, Character,
Intellect, Community and Social Awareness. The Board members represent the constituent schools
of the Network.
This is achieved through the work of the Network Coordinator, the Goals Coordinators, Principals, Deputies, Boards of Management/Governors, Staffs, Pupils/Students and Parents. Each of these stakeholders work together to achieve the aim of the promotion of Sacred Heart Education by implementing the five goals.
Our Co-ordinator
The Network Co-ordinator supports the delivery of the Network’s mission to promote the ethos and values of Sacred Heart Education in the schools of the Network. This is achieved by promoting inter-school cooperation in implementing the Five Goals through regular meetings of Heads, Deputies and Goals Coordinators, induction of new staff and ongoing formation of staff in the spirit of Sacred Heart education. The Co-ordinator maintains connections and relationships with members of the international RSCJ family and engages with the apostolic priorities of the Society.

Noreen Heenan
With a strong track record of teaching and leadership in a Sacred Heart school, Noreen has led the Sacred Heart Network in implementing the Philosophy of Sacred Heart Education since 2021. Previous experience as a member of the Network Board, allied to her belief in the value of our message enshrined in the Sacred Heart Goals, means that Noreen is a guiding and inspiring caretaker of our mission.
