MY NEW ROLE....
I have always loved being part of the Sacred Heart family and for me being an educator has always involved transmitting the ethos passed down by St. Madeleine Sophie Barat.

When I was still a student teacher I was sent to the Sacred Heart Junior School as part of my teaching practice and here I started to learn how important it is to teach our children as a ‘whole persons’.

Once I had graduated and joined the school as an early years teacher, ethos become an integral part of my school life – encouraging and helping our students to become ‘responsible members of society - actively living out Christ’s call to know and share His love’.

This year I am enjoying a new challenge in my new role as Assistant Head of the Junior School. I’m so excited that for my first year as Network Co-ordinator and Assistant Head I’m motivating and encouraging our staff and children to celebrate the Goal of Character.
