Deirdre McDonald is to retire from her role as Principal of Saint Catherine’s College, Armagh, at the end of January 2015.
Mrs McDonald has spent 39 years teaching in the school. She served as Vice Principal from 1991 and has been Principal since September 2006.
“It has been an honour and privilege for me to serve as Principal of our outstanding school, one of the finest in Ireland” commented Mrs McDonald.
“I will greatly miss the daily interactions with pupils, colleagues and parents, but will take with me many lasting friendships.”
Mrs McDonald will be sorely missed by the entire school community who wish her much happiness in the years to come.
